This post reminds me in many ways of my favorite-ever webcomic about ADHD. It is from xkcd. I have always loved it because, as everything else drifts away, the mouse-over text reads:

“Twenty balloons float away while I’m busy permanently tying one to a tree to deal with it for good…”
