Brevity is the Soul of Apathetically #2: Lack of Mental Liquidity

*Lavender dumps Liquid IV powder into a glass of water and throws out the packet in the garbage*

*Lavender gets a spoon, stirs the Liquid IV up and proceeds to almost throw the spoon in the trash as well*

Lavender: “No, wait, this is a spoon. Spoons go in sinks. Why did I want to throw it out?”

Partner: “Because you have no spoons and therefore must destroy all other spoons until the number of spoons in the world is equal to the number of spoons you have?”

How is my Partner still this coherent when we’re both super sick? I have no idea. But, regular blog posts will resume when my systolic blood pressure reaches triple digits again and I have something approaching mental “liquidity.”

(P.S. – Turns out this series can also apply to conversations had that same day. So, it isn’t just a stripped-down version of Messages in a Bottle after all! For real!)
